WORKPLAN – 1st ERP System Integrated In Digital Supply Chain – On  Show in Paris

WORKPLAN, the first ERP system to be integrated into a CAD/CAM/ERP digital supply chain, will provide a step by step demonstration of controlling the entire manufacturing process, at the Salons Solutions trade fair in Paris.

Visitors to the Vero Software stand – E18 in Hall 2.2 – between 24 and 26 September will see how the system supervises and analyses every aspect, from establishing quotes through to invoicing, thanks to its CRM, Quotations, Job Tracker, Purchasing and Stock Control, Planning, Production Management and Quality Management modules.

WORKPLAN improves the industrial performance of custom manufacturers in a variety of sectors including aeronautics, automotive, sheet metal, wood and prototyping. It interfaces directly with Vero Software’s CAD and CAD/CAM solutions WORKNC, VISI, EDGECAM, RADAN, CABINET VISION, ALPHACAM.

WORKPLAN Brand Manager Christophe MAS says: “As a scalable and modular production management tool, all relevant technical data, bills of materials, programs and elements such as machining times are synchronized with a single mouse click in the software.

“Gantt charts allow users to optimize work capacity, reduce bottlenecks, monitor crucial phases and respect lead-times."

The 2018 release improves performance and accessibility by proposing a Mobile License in partnership with Swing Mobility, a leader in the field of mobile applications. The mobile license is available on Apple, Windows and Android platforms. It offers rapid access to client files, CRM job organizing and monitoring such as managing appointments and tasks. Users can quickly display a summary of their opportunities, quotes, sales orders, invoices and consolidated turnover.

WORKPLAN 2018 includes a Packing Management module giving precise control of shipments and rapid information exchange between departments, while guaranteeing reduced paperwork. "The touch tablet allows barcode scanning, real-time inputting and recording of packing data information," says Christophe Mas.

It also provides fully integrated CMMS functionality. "The new CMMS module offers the possibility of defining spare parts lists and document management for each machine, as well as allocating time and purchase records for unproductive tasks covered by CMMS operations, and allows real time tracking of preventive and corrective maintenance schedules.

“Staying permanently connected to clients, suppliers and partners is a gateway to improving enterprise efficiency and performance. WORKPLAN 2018 employs technologies such as EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) and non-standardized APIs (Application Programming Interface).”

It is now possible to synchronize the WORKPLAN database via different types of files such as xml, csv, and Excel, through SQL queries in ODBC or web-services. This allows, amongst other things, the creation of multi-line quotes and mass importing of orders, creation and updating of third-party records, interfacing with shipment software from couriers like TNT and DHL, and communications between WORKPLAN databases (sub-contracting management).

After having integrated holiday requests and purchase requests in version 2017, the name of the 'Manual Time Management' license has been changed, and benefits from new functionality.  Renamed 'Rapid Access License' in version 2018, intervention requests related to new CMMS functionality have now been integrated.
